The Mahdavia Islamic Center of Chicago (MICC) is constantly looking for generous donations in order to provide better services for our community members.
Money does not decrease by giving in charitable causes, but it is returned manifold in the Hereafter. By the grace of Allah, you can make a huge difference in our community.
As Allah mentions in the Holy Qur'an:
"Those who (in charity) spend of their goods by night and by day, in secret and in public, have their reward with their Lord: on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve." [al-Baqarah: 274]
"Believe in Allah and His Messenger, and spend (in charity) out ofthe (substance) whereof He has made you heirs. For, those of you who believe and spend (in charity) - for them is a great reward." [al-Hadeed: 7]
Narrated Abdullah Ibn Masood(R.A): I heard the Prophet (SAW) saying:
"There is no envy except in two: a person whom Allah has given wealth and he spends it in the right way, and a person whom Allah has given wisdom (i.e. religious knowledge) and he gives his decisions accordingly and teaches it to others." [Sahih Muslim]
Here are two methods of donating:
MICC is a 501(c)(3) organization. Donations to MICC are tax deductable.
Jazak Allah Khair.
